Emotional Intelligence Coaching
Emotional Intelligence, commonly abbreviated as EI, is best defined as our capacity to perceive, express, understand and manage our own emotions and the emotions of others in an effective and appropriate manner, both in the workplace and in our personal lives.

Dealing with our feelings, or the feelings of those around us!
EI is simply being smart about our feelings and the feelings of others.
I have chosen to focus on emotional intelligence coaching because I see EI as the most consistent and effective gateway to authentic being for my clients. Being one's most authentic, powerful and creative self is the foundation for everything else in our lives. If we get that part right, the rest simply falls into place.

About The Genos Emotional Intelligence Assessment
We are pleased to work with Genos Pty Ltd, in association with Swinburne University of Technology in Australia, in a joint mission to deliver the unique and highly regarded Genos Emotional Intelligence Assessment in transforming Emotional Intelligence in the workplace.. The Genos EI Assessment was developed by Dr. Ben Palmer and Professor Con Stough at Swinburne University. Dr. Palmer is also a contributing research member of the EI Consortium.
The Genos EI assessment is a second generation instrument and is the only EI assessment developed from the ground up specifically for application in the workplace. By the way, for those of you who are Life Coaches working with individual clients or couples, you will be delighted to know that Genos has publicly released their Life Coaching version of the Genos EI assessment as of November 1, 2006 at the ICF Conference in St. Louis. It is called the Genos Well Being Assessment and is ideally suited for coaches who are focused on personal transformation rather than workplace development. We've had many requests for this version of the Genos instrument, so if you are among the patient many, please contact me directly. I can coach you personally in this model or we can train and certify you for this version in addition to the workplace version.
